A guide to happy hour at Raffles Singapore

It's 5 o'clock somewhere! The Raffles Singapore beckons.

The Singapore Sling, widely regarded as the national drink, was first created in 1915 by Raffles bartender Ngiam Tong Boon and calls Long Bar its home. A tribute to the illustrious authors who have resided at the hotel, the Writers Bar is an inspiring setting for renowned and budding writers alike, and where you can discover the Raffles 1915 Gin by Sipsmith with the Million Dollar Cocktail, a lost treasure created in the early 19th century by Ngiam Tong Boon, now reinvented for your delight.

Over 200 premium labels of wines, including a meticulous selection of natural wines, is the drawcard at Butcher's Block. From swanky restaurant bars to lush outdoor respite, the Raffles Singapore has more than the average good bars for you to unwind and relax, even more during happy hour.

Long Bar, Raffles Singapore

The historic Long Bar continues its proud tradition as the Home of the Singapore Sling. Under the ecoSPIRITS Forest Program, Raffles Hotel Singapore is planting one native tree in the Kalimantan or Sumatran rainforest for every 25 Singapore Slings ordered, leaving a permanent legacy of carbon reduction and reforestation of endangered wild areas. Walk-in only.
