A star ingredient in cocktails, white rum carries a more floral and fruity note than gold or dark rum in drinks. It pairs beautifully with lime and is a must in exotic concoctions.

In tune with the craze for all things tiki, this cocktail invites you to take time out for a relaxing Hawaiian island holiday. So put on your best floral print shirt and let this recipe transport you from home to the other side of the world…

Ingredients (1 serving)

  • 4cl white rum
  • 1cl triple sec
  • juice of half a lime
  • 2cl passion fruit purée
  • 6cl pineapple juice
  • 1cl grenadine syrup


Combine all ingredients in a shaker. Shake gently but long enough to blend the flavours. Serve in a tiki glass with ice cubes.

The exotic finishing touch: top with a slice of dried pineapple and a few pineapple leaves!
