La Presqu'île: an unspoilt view of the ocean

  • Organic local cuisine

  • Seasonal ingredients

  • Ocean view

  • Cocktail bar

At the very edge of the Quiberon peninsula, we invite you to enjoy a memorable tête-à-tête with the ocean. La Presqu'île offers breathtaking views in a magical natural setting. Our chef creates a cuisine that evolves with the seasons and reflects the Breton terroir.

You will be struck by the amazing panorama from the moment you step through the door of this bistro in Quiberon. The exceptional view of the ocean through the large bay windows is simply stunning. A coastline shaped by the winds and waves stretches out before your eyes. Our light-filled dining room is the perfect place to savour the moment. Its pastel colours and plush furnishings elegantly highlight the natural decor. And that's before we even mention the restaurant's large terrace, which offers plenty of shade and shelter so you can enjoy the sunshine as you look out over Belle-Île-en-Mer.
The dishes are inspired by the seasons and region. Our chef selects the finest fresh, local ingredients to bring out the best Breton flavours. The dishes, such as langoustine en papillote with tarragon and assorted condiments, are cooked on the spot. On Sunday, you can enjoy a traditional Breton brunch with unlimited organic oysters, smoked fish, crepes and buckwheat pancakes.
Music creates an electric ambiance on Friday and Saturday evenings, giving you the perfect opportunity to head to the bar and choose from a gorgeous selection of rums and local beers. Unless you'd prefer a signature cocktail? Bottoms up!

A top chef

Using quality products is a priority for us. Our chef selects organically farmed fruit and vegetables, as well as certified French beef. As for the flowers and herbs that top off our dishes, they come from our own aromatic garden.

(Translated by Google) But what a disappointment this brunch was! We are far from a 5*. The restaurant has become low-end only the view saves the place.
The waiters with sneakers, ill-fitting shirts, untucked, no belts on their pants...all the class of the Sofitel of yesteryear gone. Customers are allowed in flip-flops, limited to swimsuits. A customer came dressed in an Eeyore costume!!!! People take the carafes of water from their table when they are for the buffet, they help themselves to a fruit juice which they drink straight away only to have another one straight away for fear of not having any more: No education.
As for savory brunch, if you like seafood you will be served, for others you can count on the classic scrambled eggs, bacon, mini club sandwiches and various salads.
As for sweet brunch: big disappointment. Not even various mini pastries, just large croissants and different breads, which are terrible, which you can garnish with Nocciolata, honey or apricot jam. That’s it!!!! For desserts, average there too. I was thinking of having a pana cotta and no, it was just a little plain white cheese! The Breton cake is good but the chocolate one is a Christian smother.
In short, for 49€ I don't recommend it at all except for the view.
The heyday of the Sofitel is well over.
I didn't even take photos, it wasn't worth it.

(Translated by Google) The choice offered is reduced from year to year, more salmon, more sushi, more verrines etc., less and less choice also in desserts. Apart from the langoustines and oysters, the rest which is offered very basic tabbouleh, potato salad, deviled eggs etc. for the price we expect better. After 1/2 hour some dishes are not restocked, we go there every year this is our last visit
