A chic and lush oasis in Paris for serene gourmet breaks

  • A green haven in the Les Halles quarter

  • A chic menu with modern, in-season cuisine

  • Upscale tea time for a gourmet break

  • Heated dome in winter and garden in summer

Discover a secret garden in Paris designed to recharge your batteries. This exceptional setting evolves with the seasons, as does the menu, to offer you an unforgettable experience all year round. Enjoy decadent dishes while savouring the peaceful atmosphere of our restaurant, located just a few steps from Châtelet-les-Halles.

In the sun or under the dome, Le Jardin Privé is a magical setting for an interlude in the French capital. Have a seat on the terrace, and let the gentle greens of the trees and the panoramic plant wall soothe your spirits. The wrought-iron tables scattered around this tiny urban jungle create an intimate space conducive to conversations with friends or colleagues.

The seasons inspire the creativity of chef Jonathan Brandouy, who oversees a menu filled with international bistronomic cuisine. Enjoy revisited French classics and colourful dishes featuring products from land or sea. We also invite you to choose from our selection of simpler fare that's just as delicious, such as a Caesar salad or an organic burger.

In the afternoon, don't miss the famous T' Time by Sarah Ifrah Ohana, our fabulous pastry chef. Her sweet creations, refined delicacies and guilty pleasures are the perfect accompaniments to a pot of Japanese tea or a glass of champagne.

This green haven is also home to a lovely wooden bar, a privileged spot for sipping a cocktail or mocktail. Also on the programme are happy hours, afterwork drinks and DJ sets to help you unplug from everyday life and fully relax.

(Translated by Google) Reservation made 2 weeks in advance in this restaurant called JARDIN PRIVÉ, where we are supposed to dine outside. We arrive, the garden has been privatized and we must find ourselves having dinner in the lobby of the Novotel de Châtelet in a place that exudes anxiety …… the least we can do is to warn at this moment

(Translated by Google) Disappointed with this dinner in the interior room of the Novotel. Given the prices charged (e.g. €34 for a sea bass dish), there is no kitchen creativity, no amuse-bouche of any kind (gougère!), the interior room is impersonal and open to the hall, and the uncomfortable seats (seat not deep enough). In addition, one of the 2 waitresses (maitre d'hôtel?) was rigid: difficulty choosing our table even though we were alone at the time, refusal to turn down the music whose bass was in our ears, ...
In this Novotel, the customer is clearly not the king.
Fortunately the 2nd waitress saved this service with her smile and her kindness (hence the 3 stars).
I have experienced much nicer Novotel restaurants, with much more helpful staff, for a lower price.

(Translated by Google) A welcoming and professional team. The setting is pleasant and the food on the menu was original and high quality. The downside is that you don't know what to do with your coat or raincoat.
