If you're looking for a restaurant in Lyon, France's gastronomic capital, Le Garage is a safe bet. Our refined, seasonal cuisine is served in a cosy setting, elegantly highlighted by Art Deco architecture. Come and discover the wonderful mechanics of our attentive service.

Stepping into Le Garage, a magnificent Art Deco building in Lyon's Part-Dieu district, promises a refined and gourmet pit stop. The elegant decor of this 1930s former garage harks back to the building's origins.

Today, vast colonnades, a marble bar and comfortable armchairs promise a chic and trendy atmosphere.
Come for lunch in our cosy restaurant or on the shaded terrace, or get together for dinner with friends or a romantic date. Whether you want a large or intimate table, this is the place for any occasion. Some evenings, we organise after-work drinks and DJ sets for an even more convivial atmosphere.

In the dining room, our professional serving staff are very attentive, while in the kitchen, our chef works with traditional flavours in a bistro style. Our 'Maître restaurateur' (Master restauranteur) quality label guarantees freshly cooked, seasonal cuisine made with skill. You're going to love our dishes, including our perfectly cooked signature burger. And to top it all off, the wine list features a wide range of fine wines.

Le Garage Restaurant

Original parts

Our restaurant is on the site of the old Bollache, Laroque & Cie garage, built in the 1930s. With its double spiral ramp serving seven floors, it was one of the most modern garages in Europe. We have a vintage petrol pump, pictures of stunning cars and more - have fun spotting the references hidden in the decor!

Olivier Sébastien

A renowned maître restaurateur, Olivier Sébastien is originally from the Champagne region, where he developed a taste for great food at a very early age. Former executive chef for a historic Lyon caterer, Maison Chorliet, he took over the kitchens of Le Garage in 2015 and was given free rein to develop bistronomic cuisine from around the world, based on fresh and seasonal products. A real driving force behind the recent renovations, he successfully created an open kitchen visible from the dining room and including a rotisserie. A real attraction for guests, especially the Sunday morning brunch.

(Translated by Google) (Brunch meal) Warm welcome and very beautiful room, spacious and not very noisy despite the crowd

Wide range of choice with very good products

Pleasantly surprised to see several gluten-free choices

A little extra suggestion for the chef: Offer savory veggie dishes (e.g. avocado toast) so that the taste experience is a great success for everyone!

(Translated by Google) Okay but... Side salad without any dressing is harsh and Cesar salad without parmesan is not a Cesar salad.
Combined with the wait, the bill becomes too salty

Bon mais... La salade d'accompagnement sans aucune vinaigrette c'est rude et la salade Cesar sans parmesan n'est pas une salade Cesar.
Cumulé à l'attente, la note devient trop salé
