Push open the door of Brasserie Molitor, a not-to-be-missed address in the heart of the 16th arrondissement, where the art of Parisian brasserie is sublimated. Under the direction of chef Grégory Gbiorczyk, the menu celebrates the great classics of French cuisine in all their authenticity, with particular attention paid to the quality of the produce and traditional know-how.
Push open the door of Brasserie Molitor, a must-visit address in the heart of the 16th arrondissement, where the art of Parisian brasserie is sublimated. Under the direction of chef Grégory Gbiorczyk, the menu celebrates the great classics of French cuisine in all their authenticity, with particular attention paid to product quality and traditional know-how.
Settle into the warmth of comfortable armchairs and elegant chairs, in a space bathed in light with a unique Art Deco-style, and discover a menu that exudes conviviality. On the menu, you'll find French brasserie favourites such as "Croque-monsieur", "Coquillettes" with French ham and young Comté, "Saucisse au couteau" from Olivier Brosset, and a duck "Pâté en croute".
The chef's signature dishes enhance this culinary experience, including the generous "Chou farci au foie gras et riz de veau" (Awarded in 2023), or the savory Ballotine d'agneau français frotté au paprika fumé, a vibrant tribute to the history of the Molitor swimming pool and the origins of Johnny Weissmuller, its legendary lifeguard.
On the sweet side, let yourself be tempted by timeless creations such as the intensely chocolate Marquise with its custard, a poached pear in a flaky crust, or the very gourmet Tartelette with Madagascar vanilla, praline peanuts and salted butter caramel.

In 1929, the Molitor pool was opened by American Olympic swimmer, Johnny Weissmüller, aka Tarzan. It remained the most popular swimming pool in Paris until its closure in 1989. The site then became a hotspot for graffiti artists before being listed as a historical monument. The story continues at Brasserie Molitor, where guests can admire the iconic pool and fully absorb the building's creative energy.
Born in the south of France, this was where Grégory began his career. He knew early on through contact with the women in his family that he preferred playing with pots and pans than trucks. He studied at the hotel school in Avignon while working in the family restaurant. He then went on to work at various prestigious establishments such as Château de la Messardière in Saint-Tropez and Kilimanjaro in Courchevel. But he wanted to work with the best in Paris. Eventually, he joined the team at Lucas Carton and soon after moved to George V in Paris, where he gained experience in haute and luxury cuisine.

1 week ago(Translated by Google) I had lunch with a friend today at Brasserie Molitor. We were very well placed: facing the swimming pool and with this cold and rainy weather, there was evaporation of the water from the swimming pool, resulting in a very nice little cloud effect.
For my part, I opted for vegetarian with the Grenoble-style cauliflower: whole head of lightly breaded cauliflower, gratinated with a creamy sauce, spicy croutons. Very good and consistent.
For dessert, the marquise chocolate dessert. And a good sencha tea.
Very pleasant moment, cool atmosphere in an unusual place.
We took all our time
Impeccable welcome and service.
I will come back and recommend.
