The story of our name

Until the 19th century, Roubaix was a small village in Lille countryside, with a water trough for horses in Rue Vieil Abreuvoir, at that time just a simple rural lane. Taking this name is our way of celebrating an era that saw the birth of our art deco bar-restaurant and laid down the roots of our constantly evolving cuisine.

Welsh sans jambon , viande sans accompagnement… bref .. bof .. second repas , burger … simple pourtant .. pas tous le monde servi en même temps, viande froide, pain pas chaud , fromage pas fondu , vin rouge horrible… bref .. bof bof … aucun geste commercial pour compenser , malgré nos réclamations auprès du responsable du restaurant, qui n’a même pas daigné venir s’exprimer. il nous reste encore 3 semaines sur Roubaix dans cet hôtel . Je salut , tout de même le grand professionnalisme et la sympathie de l’hôtesse. Sans son sourire , nous partions sans payer au milieu du repas … Allez 100 mètres plus loins dîner à l’hôtel de France. Moins chères et plus copieux. Avoir des serveuses sympathiques dans un restaurant ne fait pas tout, pour 30 euros, il y a un minimum vital de qualité a avoir pour se prétendre restaurateur.
