Executive Chef Kirk Westaway

Drawing from both his English heritage and a strong culinary training under world-renowned chefs, Chef Kirk Westaway is recognised for his mastery in reinventing gastronomic classics that that are well-received, comforting yet refined. Born in South West of the United Kingdom, Chef Kirk successfully redefined JAAN by channeling his rooted passion for natural flavours into honest and exquisite culinary interpretations that speak to the heart, filled with reminiscences of his childhood in England. "The first is to always uphold the integrity of the produce and translate the best of each ingredient onto the plate. The second is that food should be comforting and form emotional connections.

    Service impeccable, staff were professional and met our needs (even with expediting desert due to our next appointment), and the view was honestly amazing. Probably can't get a better view of Singapore while dining. The best part is that almost all tables had a view!

    Had the set lunch, and food wise it was awesome! Loved the appetizers (white asparagus, fish & chips, cheddar pancake), the king's crab and baby lamb. The rye & sourdough bread served to us was apparently baked on site, and did not exhibit the dryness of the rye (more sourdough than rye). The butter, was awesome too. The charred leek & potato soup came in a specially crafted cup-bowl! Special mention to the hen's egg which we had opted for - that was really worth it IMO. Wish I had a few more breadsticks to go with it! 😋

    The cheese platter was offered to us, with an additional charge. Unfortunately we had to decline it due to the amount of food we had (simply no space!).

    Totally enjoyable time, and really a Michelin experience for us.

    Recently had by 50th birthday celebration here and was blown away by the whole restaurant experience. Stunning food, exceptional service and a gun barrel view of MBS.

    Experience the creativity of Chef Jaan's culinary skills here.

    My first visit and for sure will be back again.

    Had the tasting menu, it will not go wrong.
