Its lush, green setting and modern cuisine make Ô Deux Sens a choice destination for French cuisine in Ardon, on the edge of central Sologne. Great ingredients, usually local, and a convivial atmosphere await, whether you're visiting for a sophisticated meal or some exquisite cocktails.

Golfers will be very familiar with Ô Deux Sens, as it runs alongside Limière golf course's 18th hole. When you come to eat here, you can enjoy a perfect view of the green and take in the course's leafy surroundings from the comfort of the dining room or terrace of this Ardon bistro.
The natural environment is woven into Ô Deux Sens' decor, and the animal sketches adorning the walls give you a glimpse of the local wildlife. As for the food, its flavours are firmly rooted in our region's terroir. Our chef works with ingredients which are either organic or from local farms (or both). He and his kitchen brigade offer a truly seasonal menu that includes a starter, main course and dessert. His chicken with Morchella mushrooms, cream of mushroom and fresh tagliarini is one of the many delicate dishes available all year round.
Ô Deux Sens also has a bar where you can sample 'le Chose', a tonic and grapefruit cocktail that is very popular among golfers, or a local 1429 Octopus beer. There's something for every taste and preference!

"Ma passion pour la cuisine est née lors de mon enfance dans l'anjou. Je me souviens encore des heures passées avec ma grand-mère à cuisiner.
Au cours de mes études, j'ai eu l'opportunité de faire des stages dans deux restaurants étoilés où j'ai pris plaisir à faire de la cuisine demandant rigueur et précision. Par amour, je suis venue m'installer à Orléans où j'ai travaillé dans la brigade de Philippe Bardot au Lift.
Mes inspirations sont portées sur la cuisine traditionnelle avec une touche de modernité. Il me tient coeur de travailler avec des petits producteurs locaux tels que la ferme bio Les Nemoys de Tigy pour les aspergres blanches, la ferme bio du domaine de Ciran pour les crottins de chèvre,..."

    On the other hand, the staff is young and friendly.
    Aperitif 2 glasses of champagne, which we know.....even if we had to wait a while to have it...we know the Laurent Perrier, it was good.
    If I hadn't asked the young waitress to take the empty champagne glasses when she brought us the main course, they definitely would have remained on the table until we left.
    The starter, tomatoes-avocado-burrata....ok after adding salt and pepper, because it was not seasoned.
    Main course, sea bass fillet, tomato sauce and arborio risotto with €5.- extra. The fish was overcooked, the tomato sauce too heavy and tasteless and the risotto unfortunately not edible for me.....who loves risotto. Too much cream, mushy, no taste, I tasted it and left it.
    My husband finally had a plate of cheeses, very good cheeses as was the bread.
    Naturally I am from the trade and look at the whole thing with a different eye and I surely have other expectations.....To begin with....the glasses leaving a shadow of lip marks, the cutlery that I have to polish .....etc....
    It's a real shame because the setting near the golf course is truly impeccable.

    Nous avons réservé 2 nuits au Mercure et comme nous étions fatigués et au vu de nombres avis positifs sur google, nous avons réservé 2 places au restaurant O deux sens. Nous avons été vraiment déçus.
    En revanche le personnel est jeune et sympathique.
    Apéro 2 coupes de champagne, que nous connaissons.....même si nous avons dû attendre un certain temps pour l'avoir...nous connaissons le Laurent Perrier, il était bon.
    Si je n'avais pas demandé à la jeune serveuse de prendre les verres de champagne vides lorsqu'elle nous a apporté le plat principal, ils seraient certainement restés sur la table jusqu'à notre départ.
    L'entrée, tomates- avocat-burrata....ok après avoir ajouté du sel et du poivre, car ce n'était pas assaisonné.
    Plat principal, filet de bar, sauce tomates et risotto arborio avec €5.- en supplément. Le poisson était trop cuit, la sauce tomate trop lourde et sans goût et le risotto malheureusement pas mangeable pour moi.....qui adore le risotto. Trop de crème, pâteux, aucun goût, je l'ai goûté et l'ai laissé.
    Mon mari a pris pour finir une assiette de fromages, fromages très bons tout comme le pain.
    Naturellement je suis du métier et regarde l'ensemble sous un autre œil et j'ai sûrement d'autres attentes.....Pour commencer....les verres laissant une ombre de traces de lèvres, les couverts que je dois polir.....etc....
    C'est vraiment dommage car le cadre près du golf est vraiment irréprochable.
