Inviting restaurant with a lounge and terrace opposite Bordeaux station

  • Local cuisine and a seasonal menu

  • Welcoming spot opposite Bordeaux station

  • Lunchtime menu for a quick bite

  • Cocktails and sharing snacks

Named after the Bordeaux railway station and the district around it, Le Saint-Jean serves generous French cuisine. Our bistro-style dishes have that extra spark that comes from using local produce combined with an original take on flavours. Treat yourself to a gourmet break between meetings or before catching your train.

With a contemporary ambiance and a butcher's-style wall mural giving a nod to the history of the Quai de Paludate, the décor of Le Saint-Jean celebrates the rebirth of this lively Bordeaux district.

On our terrace, inspired by stylish Parisian bistros, you can watch travellers at the station come and go. The lounge, with its comfy banquettes, is an ideal spot to recharge your phone and treat yourself to a pastry. Our Paris-Brest, with its caramel coulis and hazelnut ice cream, will definitely cheer you up, even before a long journey.

Train departure approaching? Choose from the midday menu for a quick and delicious lunch. Our menu changes with the seasons, and the only constant is that we always use the best local produce along with top-quality organic vegetables and fruit. Everybody will find something to their taste, from fish to French-reared meat or vegetarian options.

When aperitif time comes around, ask for our drinks menu. Classic cocktails or bespoke creations, with or without alcohol, accompany our selection of snacks with style. Why not order a Croque Saint-Jean or a hummus platter to share between colleagues or friends?

(Translated by Google) Good food with fresh produce and effort on the dressing! Too bad the price of the wines is prohibitive (14 euros per carafe or 6 euros per glass! lol, not to mention the price of the bottles) Besides, almost no one in the room drinks wine as a result! A shame because with a more affordable price we would come back regularly but unfortunately such prices in Bordeaux, city of wine, are simply prohibitive! Prefer to sell 5 glasses for 6 euros rather than 30 for 4 euros... I don't really understand your commercial approach!
