Located in Karaköy, a wonderful district of Istanbul, Mürver Restaurant welcomes its guests with an ever-burning wood fire, a creative, relaxing and modern atmosphere, unique dishes and a magnificent terrace overlooking the historical peninsula since 2017.
The venue, endorsed by both MICHELIN Guide and Gault&Millau Turkey, also received recognition for the rich blend of Mürver in the 'Award of Excellence' category by Wine Spectator.

Characterized by a selection of dishes with different fire-cooking techniques, Mürver's rich menu includes dishes with ingredients supplied by local producers from Anatolia, cooked in a wood oven or a wood grill, hung on an open fire wall, smoked in an incense oven, sustainable seafood, meat and pepperoni as well as a selection of meals and appetizers that appeal to vegetarians. Among the signature dishes of the menu containing seasonal ingredients are the "Thracian Kıvırcık Lamb" and "Octopus in Ash", which are Mürver's classics now.

Mevlüt Özkaya

Mevlüt Özkaya, who has been serving as the Chef de Cuisine at Mürver since 2021, passionately leads the kitchen team while maintaining his culinary passion by focusing on the offerings of the sea and land throughout every season. With his unique and meticulous cooking style, the chef was honored with the Young Chef award from the MICHELIN Guide in 2023 and the Rising Chef award from Gault&Millau in 2024.

An open kitchen and a fire wall suitable for many techniques as well as an ever-burning stone oven enables Mevlüt Chef to reinterpret the live fire tradition with an innovative approach, the specially designed chef's bench made from Nero Picasso marble offers guests a unique experience accompanied by special dishes in the warmth of a live fire.

    Yediklerimizden en aklımızda kalan şey kesinlikle külde ahtapottu. İstanbul’un en iyi ahtapotu . Diğer restoranlarda yerken yüzü ekşiyen birisi kesinlikle burada denemeli . ördek topik ve taş fırından armut yaratıcılık isteyen sunumlardı. Füme çupra da epey lezzetliydi . Bunların dışında ana yemekteki kuzu sırtı güzeldi ama porsiyonu küçüktü, granyöz tazeydi ve daha doyurucuydu. Kokteyllerde de heybeli bizce en iyisiydi . Yemekler servis edilirken yapılan anlatımlar hoştu garsonlar gayet eğitimliler belli oluyor . Umarım en kısa sürede hakettikleri michelin yıldızı gelir

    En son neredeyse 10 yıl önce gelmiştim. Ambiyans, yemekler ve özellikle servisle birlikte bir bütün olarak yine çok keyif aldık. Büşra Hanım çok sıcakkanlıydı ve finedining tecrübesini tamamlayacak şekilde destek oldu. ✨ ikram digestif içkileri çok orijinaldi, tadı damağımızda kaldı.
