Drawing from both his English heritage and a strong culinary training under world-renowned chefs, Chef Kirk Westaway is recognised for his mastery in reinventing gastronomic classics that that are well-received, comforting yet refined. Born in South West of the United Kingdom, Chef Kirk successfully redefined JAAN by channeling his rooted passion for natural flavours into honest and exquisite culinary interpretations that speak to the heart, filled with reminiscences of his childhood in England.     The 2 person that attended to us throughout our lunch was great. They make sure that we are settled down comfortably Nikki made sure I get a window view seat. Thanks for that too.

    Had dinner for my kids' birthday. Thoroughly enjoyed the food. My elderly mom had food restrictions, and Chef Kirk managed to swap on of the item on the menu.

    The service crew was outstanding. The food was outstanding.

    It is not for weekly meals but I felt the price paid was worth it.

    Went over to Jaan yesterday for dinner and was disappointed with the overall service.

    Upon arrival, I waited about 10 minutes after being seated without receiving a menu or any service—only some water. With eight tables occupied, I expected better attention.

    After requesting the wine menu, it took nearly 20 minutes for Som to come over, despite asking twice for that. It was until I raised my hand for the third time then finally a staff came to assist, but there seemed to be a lack of communication as no one had informed her of my request. I ended up ordering a bottle of Krug.

    During the meal, I noticed that other tables had their wine bottle corks on the table, while mine did not. After half the course, a waitress approached me, asking how I was enjoying the wine and offering to suggest pairings, which felt a bit out of sync with the experience.

    The food presentation was inconsistent. They intro the same dish twice.

    Overall, the initial experience was quite poor, especially considering the bill was around 1.5k for two people. I expected a smoother service and better attention to detail. The food itself was decent, earning about 3.5/5, but the service really detracted from the overall experience.

    I hope they can improve these aspects in the future.
