We picked Skai to celebrate our anniversary and quite honestly we were disappointed. The only thing that Skai has going for itself is the views. There's only so far a restaurant in SG can survive purely with rooftop views. The food can be described as average at best- we ordered the fois-gras and it was sub standard and not seared properly. We wanted to order from the tuna bar and were informed that nothing from the tuna bar menu was available- mind it that we were having dinner at 7:30 pm. But the worst was the service- after taking our order it took 10 mins to get a bottle of sparkling water, an additional 30 mins to get out wine served and overall service experience was comparable to a hawker center. Very disappointing. Our strong recommendation is to try all other rooftop restaurants in Singapore and give Skai a wide berth.
