2 years agoThe starter was as sweet as a dessert. It is generally difficult to order mains to get variety. We ended up with too many creamy dishes. The dessert (fried dough balls) was supposed to have saffron and it had none. Major disappointment.

Back to four stars. Good service. The black lentil dahl was very good (can order again). The creamy dishes have less spice, get a non-creamy one next time.
2023 Three stars
Nice indian curries. The mushroom curry in creamy sauce was very good.
I asked for normal spice level. The food turned out to be very spicy. Would be great with a scale so there is no misunderstanding when ordering
- European level
- Singapore level
- Indian level
- Nigerian level
FOUR STARS
Pretty good. The starter salad was very nice (using deep fried spinach). Then get a curry and order free flow of naan bread.
Lots of Indians, if that is a sign of quality. Pleasant venue.

2 weeks agoBeen back here a few times and loved the space, service and food. YY was a fab sommelier who always suggests us delicious wines to try. Tony and Theresa were very attentive.
For the foods we tried, we loved them all. I love their Papdi Chaat and always order this dish whenever we come. We had the tasting platter and the prawns were very yummy. Lamb tasty but a bit dry though. Chicken was tender. Briyani, Butter Chicken, Aloo Gobi and Naans were flavourful. Not tried the other dishes yet.

2 weeks agoFood is great. Booked it again for 16th April but they called yesterday to say that the restaurant was booked out that day (by a private event), and offered no solutions or alternatives. Credit card was pegged to the reservation as well.
Given that the restaurant lives to the standards of Raffles Hotels (ideally), we would not expect that they should: (a) sell their slots to a private event when there are pre existing reservations; and (b) not provide suitable alternatives. Further, they did not bother to follow up with a text or email.
Unfortunately, due to the terrible service, I will not be back again.
