Tiffin Room

I had high expectations dining at Tiffin Room, given its location in the prestigious Raffles Hotel. Unfortunately, the food quality fell far short of what you'd expect from such an upscale venue. The rice and roti were noticeably undercooked, making them hard to eat and enjoy. The kofta was extremely firm—so much so that it couldn’t be broken easily with a knife, which made it unpleasant to eat. The papdi chaat, which should be a balance of textures and flavors, was drenched in chutney, completely overpowering the dish. While the ambiance and service were fine, the food was a major letdown. For the price and reputation, I expected much better execution and attention to detail.

Good food, service and atmosphere. Great place to celebrate special occasions.

Service is great, ambience is very classic. Tranquil atmosphere, staffs are friendly and very attentive. Food is high quality but taste is more to western palate, not truly Indian. The daal makhani was very buttery, may be that’s the original way to cook but we couldn’t finish it. Chaad and paneer tikka was excellent.
