The restaurant boasts an impressive interior and the staff was undeniably courteous and professional. However, the food—which should be the heart of any dining establishment—failed to deliver the authentic flavors that define true Indian cuisine. What's particularly frustrating is that Masala Library carries such a prestigious reputation in the culinary world. The restaurant clearly invests in presentation and atmosphere, but sadly, the food does not do justice to either its celebrated name or the rich, diverse tapestry of authentic Indian cuisine. For those seeking genuine Indian flavors in Doha, I would recommend looking elsewhere. The restaurant space was looking very clean and elegant. The interior, music, and staff uniforms reminded me of India. Mrs.Lala paid attention to details as offering additional papadum and crackers. Also, the menu has been renewed recently, so she recommended a dessert for me. She was very friendly and had a long experience in hotel restaurants, so she behaved very professionally. I visited at dinner time, so I would like to visit at lunch time.
