The atmosphere of the restaurant is absolutely stunning! Cosy and bright inside. There was music live performance to compliment the brunch which was fantastic! Food wise, good selection of starters although felt some of dishes like salad were a bit too simple. Mains came on Wellington with vegetables. Asparagus tasted salty, carrots tasted soury, ratatouille were just dry and hard. The final baked Alaska was brilliantly done dessert and good note to the chef. Commented a bit on service, ordered drinks but only came after two chasers. Could get more attentive staff.
🌅 Seagrill Bistro – Beachfront Dining with a View 🐟 Located right on the beachfront of Fairmont The Palm, Seagrill Bistro is all about relaxed elegance, stunning Arabian Gulf views, and those golden sunset moments that just hit different by the sea. 🌊☀️ The menu brings a Levantine twist to fresh, grilled seafood and lunchtime classics — from vibrant seafood platters to juicy, satisfying burgers. It’s casual, coastal dining done right. Whether you're there for the food or the views (or both!), it’s the kind of place where time slows down and every bite comes with a breeze.
Wow, what can i say, and focus on food and service - well we (non-residents) booked super early evening dinner and it had been around 40c that day, so by 6pm-ish it wasnt busy outside, but that didnt detract. The food: we had the grilled seafood platter for 2, sharing, wow, fresh, lovely fish, cooked to perfection, but the portion size for a 2 sharing was HUGE WOW and would have easily catered for 4! it comes with french fries and a nicely dressed green salad, and the seafood came with an assortment of accompaniments (ie spiced mayos, sauce tartar etc)- didn't have to ask for anything further! we had one extra side of steamed green vegs, all fresh (not frozen), and had their customary home made foccaccia (depsite us being on a bread free diet, we couldnt resist it, warm bread drizzled olive oil over it, balsamic, salt...OMG drooling even thinking back to it! I had a brulee after and just stuffed to the brim!: 10/10 well done to the kitchen. Service: 10/10 could not fault in the slightest (& i would say, this is very typical of hospitality service in Dubai - the exact opposite of UK!). *Levis looked after our service, lovely guy, warm, hospitable, friendly. What a great asset he is to the FOH team. Well done all round. Nearly forgot! - we had so much left over and didnt want to waste and send back to the kitchen, so we asked for it to be packed for a take-home and they could not have been more obliging, we had to agree to a disclaimer and not take back the (oh-so umami) Bouillabaisse, butn we took home everything else, except the fries, and reheated it back at out aparthotel (Adagio) the following lunchtime! Its not cheap, obviously, but, you get what you pay for! We shall return on our next visit to Dubai - 100%
