I should’ve read the reviews first. I had lunch at Vaya Latin Mercado inside the Fairmont Doha, and unfortunately, it set a disappointing tone for my first meal in the city. I spent about $77 USD on tacos, empanadas, and water—no cocktails, no appetizers, no dessert—and left feeling completely underwhelmed. The brisket tacos, which I ordered medium, came out well-done and drenched in sauce, making them soggy and imbalanced. The empanadas didn’t fare much better—just bland and forgettable. The ambiance was just okay. Not terrible, but definitely not what I’d expect from a restaurant inside a high-end hotel. At this price point, I expected both great food and a polished dining experience—this was neither. I can’t speak to other Latin options in Doha yet, but I wouldn’t recommend starting here. For the price, you deserve way better execution and flavor. I won’t be returning.

Amazing restaurant! Food was delicious, service was excellent, special thanks to Fildah for serving us and making our experience more enjoyable. The atmosphere was perfect. 5-star experience—I’ll definitely be back, and I really recommend it!
