We had a wonderful dining experience in Settimo, and May truly made it unforgettable. She was incredibly attentive, kind, and professional from start to finish. Every recommendation she made was spot on and absolutely delicious. Her warm hospitality added so much to our evening. Thank you, May, for making us feel so welcome — we’d love to come back again!

Based on the reviews, I was expecting more. The restaurant is beautiful, the view is stunning, and unfortunately, that’s where the positives end. The staff did everything properly and well. They were polite, but I had the feeling that they weren’t as friendly as in other Italian restaurants we walked into from the street. As for the food, we ordered from the à la carte menu: We started with the appetizer set for two (in our opinion, the starters were quite average), then had the truffle carbonara, which was good – it had a strong flavor, almost identical to the one at Tonnarello (except there it cost €12). This one did have truffles, but they were overpowered by the flavor of the carbonara and barely noticeable (there were fewer of them than in the photos I had seen). Finally, we had the risotto, which had a strong taste but was simply not good and the portion was very small. We didn’t come with the intention to stuff ourselves, but the portions were small, and maybe we’re just not used to these kinds of flavors. I wouldn’t recommend it – it’s better to eat at a cheaper restaurant, and I think you’ll end up more satisfied. I regret not taking any photos to show what I mean.

Abbiamo pranzato sabato 12 aprile in questo bellissimo roof al settimo piano dell'hotel Sofitel Roma Villa Borghese. Siamo stati benissimo. Per quanto riguarda l'accoglienza al cliente: ti fanno sentire come a casa grazie alla responsabile di sala e a tutto lo staff. Per quanto riguarda l'offerta gastronomica, è caratterizzata da materie prime legate alla stagione e al territorio. Non ho trovato voli pindarici gastronomici, ma piatti ben cucinati, ben presentati e ottime materie prime, il tutto curato dallo Chef Giuseppe D'alessio. L'ambiente non è grandissimo, arredato con gusto, prenotazione consigliata. La vista mozzafiato. Il resto lo raccontano le foto. Da provare. I didn't find any gastronomic flights of fancy, but well-cooked, well-presented dishes and excellent raw materials, all taken care of by Chef Giuseppe D'alessio.
