    Place is nice - proper heritage building but the service is abysmal - pathetic and unfriendly - wouldn’t recommend

    I have always preferred the Courtyard to Raffles' more famous bar - the Courtyard being quieter, less touristy, with more attentive service. Service though has taken a nosedive over the past 12 months. Gone are the skilled and joyful bartenders, replaced by staff whose only interest is pushing the set course lunch and moving you on ASAP. The Courtyard's setting is still as lovely as ever, but the atmosphere is no longer conducive to long afternoons by the bar.

    Incredibly disappointing experience. While the drinks were good, the service was atrocious. We had booked for dinner, but left after the drinks because the service was so poor.
