went for the afternoon tea session! the spread was amazing and value for price. get to try both sweet and savory based on local selection like laksa, satay and etc.
Food was fine, and it took a long time to come out. Probably a bit overpriced; didn't realize it was in a hotel setting when I decided to go. I probably wouldn't go back.
Just had a wonderful dinner at this cafe inside Ibis Bencoolen. We had Fish & Chips and a Wagyu Burger, both were delicious. But what make the dinner special is the Waiter Smith. I was having a bad sore throat, with almost no voice when placing order. He quietly returns with s hot cup of peppermint tea with mint leaves, reminding me to drink it warm. Surprisingly the tea works wonder. I regain my voice with reduced soreness within the hour. That was such a nice touch of service excellence.
