ILVOLO BAR ROOFTOP

IlVolo means 'the flight'. Birds, the bar's emblem, take flight from our nest formed by the metal rooftop structure. Admire the view of the Eiffel Tower while sipping cocktails from Matthias Giroud and Mediterranean tapas and antipasti from Italian chef Denny Imbroisi. 

The star mixologist and the renowned Italian chef join forces to climb to the peak of their talents. The Nid de Paris ('Nest of Paris') cocktail illustrates their creativity perfectly: it combines hay-infused Tanqueray gin, elderflower liqueur and Hysope cucumber tonic water. Their creations include both alcoholic and non-alcoholic mixes. They can be spicy, sour, sweet or savoury, but are always surprising and invite you to travel. Their Italian, Spanish and Moroccan inspirations go well with the antipasti that our former participant on TV show Top Chef creates with produce from our Italian suppliers. In the dish Arancini Cacio e pepe, tartufo, ragù Maionese al peperoncino dolce, northern and southern Italy unite on your plate. The fried rice balls stuffed with cheese and pepper that Sicilians are so proud of are paired delightfully with the delicacy of truffles and the generosity of a meat sauce. The menu offers other gems of Italian cuisine, like courgette flowers with burrata, best savoured in that enchanting, late-afternoon light that magnifies Parisian monuments, or beneath the stars when night falls.
