Matsuhisa Paris: when Japanese cuisine meets Peruvian flavours

  • Japanese gastronomy

  • Hip restaurant

  • Outstanding views

  • Sharing cuisine

Nobu Matsuhisa chose our luxury hotel in Paris to be the home of his only restaurant in France. At Matsuhisa Paris, the world-famous chef adds Latin-American ingredients to Japanese cuisine. An extremely refined experience and modern cuisine await at our restaurant in Paris!

When designing the decor for Matsuhisa Paris, Philippe Starck created a unique world. Vast spaces, dynamic lighting and exclusive furniture create a hip atmosphere inside, while our garden terrace provides a dreamier ambience beside the Zen pool.

The originality of the setting is plain to see and it echoes the unforgettable menu designed by Nobu Matsuhisa, making our restaurant an emblem of reimagined Japanese gastronomy. The famous chef has added Peruvian flavours to traditional Japanese dishes. Enjoy black cod in a miso sauce, yellowtail sashimi with jalapenos, must-have sushi and grilled Wagyu beef.

All these dishes demonstrate our chef's creativity and his skill in blending the refinement of two food cultures from opposite shores of the Pacific Ocean.

A great source of inspiration for Pastry Chef Yazid Ichemrahen, the spirit of Nobu Matsuhisa infuses the pastry chef's flagship dessert for Matsuhisa Paris: cheesecake, a comforting version of the signature dessert of Nobu San restaurants. Other sweet offerings, such as iced mochi and fruit salad, are presented in a bento box that's as playful as it is delicious.

Matsuhisa Paris: a unique setting for inventive fusion cuisine

A star chef

Nobu Matsuhisa trained in traditional Japanese cuisine before moving to Peru at the age of 24 to open his first restaurant. Since then, he has had an innovative influence on the fusion cuisine scene, which he helped pioneer: his dishes blending traditional Japanese culture with South-American ingredients have taken over the world!

(Translated by Google) Really not worth the price, but then really not... Tea time is very mediocre; any pastries (with flan... the great Parisian fashion which is of little interest). The coffee is PMU level (without exaggerating), not coffee shop level (very, very far).
The service is long and stilted (for nothing).
On the other hand, the welcome of the hotel is at the level of what I can expect from this type of place.

Went because it was named top 50 in Condé Nast. There are far more interesting hotel
bars with far less attitude. Skip it.

(Translated by Google) I had already come for the cocktail bar but found the new menu uninspiring. The waiter tells me that it doesn't matter because the bartender can do everything: so I ask for a blue lagoon (off the menu). The waiter came back after 3 minutes apologizing because an ingredient was missing: curaçao, although basic. Friendly service, but long (it took at least 20 minutes for our cocktails to be served) and not super professional. The 2 cocktails were correct without + and charged more because they were off the menu. In short, I didn't have a bad time, but a little disappointed compared to my previous experience.

(Translated by Google) The hot chocolate is amazing. The whipped cream, to die for; real vanilla from Madagascar.
It was very delicious. Thank you for this moment.

Le chocolat chaud est topissime. La crème fouettée, à tomber ; de la vraie vanille de Madagascar.
C’était très gourmand. Merci pour ce moment.
